We value internal and external partnerships and collaborate across a broad innovation ecosystem that includes DoD/IC/OGA labs and research teams, universities, small businesses, and venture firms/accelerators - all in service of developing advanced technologies to enable our nation's warfighting mission needs.We are looking for a Senior Program Engineering Manager for the Autonomy, Processing & Exploitation (APEX) product line within FAST Labs. APEX research spans technology thrusts from sensor processing (including communications, position, navigation, and timing, and signal exploitation), through knowledge generation and sense-making, up to tactical and operational level autonomy and decision support for manned, unmanned, and teamed mission applications. Our research drives advances in artificial intelligence, machine learning, and statistical signal processing, pushing the boundaries of what is possible through advanced system prototypes and capability demonstrations. We seek to expand and advance our capabilities into full-spectrum, all-domain, all-participant, multi-time-scale applications.As a PEM, the selected candidate will:

• Be the engineering focal point for all activity within their programs including strategic planning, bid and proposal support for engineering content, engineering strategy and integrated plans on programs, engineering staffing, issue reporting, and risk and opportunity management
• Provide overall project technical leadership; plan, execute, and manage all engineering efforts within the project. This includes tailoring company processes and procedures to execute programs ranging from basic research to transition to production
• Partner and collaborate with program managers, functional engineering managers, subcontractors, customers, and operations to ensure program goals, requirements, and needs are understood and achieved
• Develop and monitor project plans and execution to ensure technical and work scope requirements, schedule, and budget are well defined and maintained
• Effectively communicate with clear, concise messaging to project teams and leadershipBecause this role involves a combination of collaborative/in-person and independent work, it can take the form of a hybrid work format, with time split between working onsite and remotely, or an on-site format.Required Education, Experience, & Skills
  • Active Secret DoD clearance with ability to obtain Top Secret with SCI accesses
  • Strong Software Development, Integration and Test experience
  • Participation in all program phases, from proposal development through transition/deployment
  • Experience leading teams and programs Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
    • Active TS/SCI DoD clearance
    • Cost Account Manager and Earned Value experiencePay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $147300 - $250400Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
