Job Summary

Responsible for supporting departmental efficiencies by performing various tasks such as scheduling, registration, patient pre-admission and admission, reception, and discharge functions. The ideal candidate must be able to obtain complete and accurate patient demographic information.Key Responsibilities

* Greet customers and provide world-class customer service while adhering to Conifer Standards of Care.
* Complete full patient registration at date of service and adhere to financial and cash control policies and procedures.
* Thoroughly explain and secure Hospital and patient legal forms, including Advance Directives, Conditions of Service, Consent for Treatment, and Important Message from Medicare.
* Scan Protected Health Information and create and file patient information packets/folders for upcoming Hospital services.
* Assist with scheduling diagnostic procedures, including entering data in the scheduling system, providing customers with appointment instructions, and performing other tasks as needed.Requirements

* High School Diploma or GED required.
* 0-1 year of experience in a Customer Service role and/or administrative experience in a medical facility, health insurance, or related area preferred.
* Ability to sit at a computer terminal for extended periods, lift/carry items weighing up to 25 lbs, and frequently stand, sit, and walk.About Conifer Health Solutions
