Job Description Please Note this position supports our 2nd Shift. You will be paid a 10% Pay Premium while working the 2nd Shift. Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed full-time on site. Come build your career with BAE Systems.Applies a variety of standard and experimental finishes to both production and prototype machined parts in conformance with military specifications.

• Ensures proper surface masking and preparations, mixing epoxies and solvents to appropriate ratios by weight, volume or viscosity, incorporating a knowledge of scales and weights and how substances interact.
• Prepares the surfaces of parts, assemblies, and finished products by cleaning, stripping, abrading, sanding, masking and stenciling.
• Selects and mixes finishing materials: coats and /or touches up product with such materials as paint, acrylic, varnish, enamel, lacquer, and stain using.
• May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process control and procedures.
• Works from blueprints and process sheets to develop finishing processes, applications and techniques where thickness tolerances are critical.Required Education, Experience, & Skills High School Diploma or GEDPay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $39219 - $62751Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures.
