Job SummaryThe Translational Research Project Manager will
oversee the management of the Pediatric and Young Adult Cancer Cell
Therapy Program at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and Boston
Children's Hospital. This role involves strategic decision making,
program building, regulatory responsibilities, grant/report
writing, and translational oversight to ensure effective
translation of novel therapies.Key Responsibilities
- Manage and direct the portfolio of novel cell therapies being
brought to the clinic from the laboratories of Dana-Farber Cancer
Institute and Boston Children's Hospital.
- Work closely with program director Robbie Majzner to strategize
on program goals and manage the implementation of program goals and
objectives.
- Manage project scope and timeline through formal change
management processes.
- Manage relationships with funders and partners, including cell
manufacturing facility, other principal investigators, foundations,
biotechs, and pharma partners.
- Strategize about program funding and assist in the preparation
of grant applications.
- Develop and facilitate or oversee the development and
facilitation of workshops, seminars, and orientations.
- Perform regulatory tasks related to IND submissions and annual
reports for clinical trials.Requirements
- Bachelor's degree preferably in a field relevant to clinical
research experience.
- 5 years of clinical research experience with 3 years of project
management required.
- Program and/or project management experience in a
biotech/pharma and/or academic setting.
- Regulatory experience with clinical trial development preferred
