Aerospace Technical Program ManagerJoin our team as an Aerospace Technical Program Manager and contribute to the cutting-edge aerospace industry by leading significant projects in composite manufacturing for defense and commercial sectors. This role demands a blend of technical acumen, leadership prowess, and proactive communication, ensuring the seamless execution of our high-stake aerospace programs while adhering to the highest standards of quality and regulatory compliance.Salary: $100,000.00 - $130,000.00 per yearEssential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of aerospace programs focusing on composite manufacturing.
  • Develop detailed program plans encompassing schedules, budgets, and resource allocations to ensure program objectives are met efficiently.
  • Monitor program progress, addressing any discrepancies or delays to maintain adherence to schedule and budget constraints.
  • Maintain alignment between project deliverables and strategic company objectives while ensuring compliance with aerospace standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering teams to meet technical specifications and resolve technical issues swiftly.
  • Act as the primary technical liaison between customers and internal teams, managing expectations and clarifying project requirements.
  • Proactively identify and solve potential technical and logistical challenges throughout the program lifecycle.
  • Coordinate cross-functional team efforts across engineering, manufacturing, quality assurance, and supply chain departments.
  • Ensure robust communication flows within the organization to address and resolve any issues affecting program success.
  • Engage with customers and stakeholders to effectively manage project scope, deliverables, and ensure overall satisfaction.
  • Uphold strong customer relationships through transparent, frequent updates on project status, risks, and outcomes.
  • Regularly report to senior management and stakeholders on program status, budget consumption, and risk management.
  • Implement risk mitigation strategies and corrective actions as necessary to ensure project conformity with time, cost, and performance targets.
  • Ensure all program activities, from financial tracking to risk assessment, are well-documented for compliance and audit purposes.
  • Prepare and present comprehensive program updates to senior leadership, ensuring transparency and alignment across the organization.Minimum Position Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.
    • 1-5 years of experience in program management or project management within the aerospace industry, focusing on composite manufacturing.
    • Profound knowledge of aerospace engineering principles, particularly in composites and manufacturing processes.
    • Familiarity with aerospace industry standards such as MIL-STD, AS9100, and FAA certifications.
    • Proficiency in using project management tools like Microsoft Project, Primavera, and Jira.Preferred Qualifications:
      • Advanced degree in an engineering discipline related to aerospace or materials science.
      • Experience managing both defense and commercial aerospace programs, especially in aircraft, ground, and maritime communications systems.
      • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple programs and priorities in a high-pressure environment.
      • Hands-on experience in overseeing projects from inception through completion in adherence to stringent quality and safety standards.
      • Exceptional analytical skills for strategic planning and operational execution of aerospace programs.Skills:
