Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Network Analyst to join our Information Technology team. This role is crucial in maintaining and optimizing our complex network infrastructure across thousands of restaurant locations. The ideal candidate will serve as a key technical resource, bridging the gap between store operations, network vendors, and support teams.

In this position, you will be responsible for troubleshooting network-related issues, conducting root cause analysis, and ensuring optimal network performance across our restaurant locations. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to maintain and improve our network infrastructure, while also contributing to technical documentation and knowledge base development.

Duties and Responsibilities

---Analyze and troubleshoot complex network issues across restaurant locations using advanced tools like PowerShell packet captures and Wireshark
---Lead technical support calls and coordinate with vendors and the Retail Network team to resolve store-level network problems
---Monitor and maintain in-store network infrastructure, including wireless networks, cellular devices, and satellite network components
---Manage and operate the network laboratory environment in partnership with the Retail Network Team
---Create and maintain technical documentation, knowledge articles, and training materials for support teams
---Build and maintain strong working relationships with network vendors, internal network teams, and support staff
---Provide expert guidance on Windows Firewall configuration and management for Windows 10/11 environments
---Monitor and optimize network performance using specialized network monitoring tools
---Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve network reliability and performance


Required Experience/Skills

---Minimum 3 years of professional experience as a Network Analyst
---3+ years of experience in network troubleshooting and root cause analysis
---Strong understanding of network protocols and infrastructure
---Proficiency in network monitoring tools and packet analysis software
---Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
---Outstanding communication and team collaboration abilities
---Experience in technical documentation and knowledge base management
---Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities effectively


Nice-to-Haves

---Experience with Meraki devices and Meraki Web Dashboard
---Familiarity with Point of Sale (POS) systems and restaurant technology
---Background in quick-service restaurant or retail technology
---Experience with cellular and satellite network troubleshooting
---Knowledge of enterprise-level wireless network management


Education

---Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
---Relevant technical certifications are a plus
