The Distribution Enablement Group (DEG) is an expanding team within Natixis. Our group encompasses Business Intelligence, Analytics & Data Science, Sales & Marketing Operations, and Distribution Strategy. Our core mission is to drive business growth and improve efficiency by extracting insights from data and streamlining the use of data & technology. We do this through developing business analytic reports, generating and centralizing data-driven leads based on current firm priorities, and more.As a Data Scientist, you will develop expertise in our data and will take a lead role in uncovering trends and exploiting them for Business purposes. You will design, implement, and maintain both analytic- and data-pipelines. Your goal is to become a key resource to the Business for completing distribution efforts as efficiently as possible. You will also be a contributor who raises the skills of others on the team, and help the team evolve and expand. This is a hybrid position located in Boston, MA.What you will do:

• Partner with Sales, Marketing, Finance and other Business teams to understand their requirements, and translate their goals into data results & automated workflows.
• Partner with IT to deliver on Business objectives, including code deployments to production environment, data collection & integration, and front-end UX & back-end infrastructure.
• Develop & maintain analytic-pipelines to support Business objectives.
• Develop & maintain data-pipelines, including ETL/ELT processes, to enable analytic processes and interactive dashboards.
• Monitor & troubleshoot analytic- and data- infrastructure to ensure uptime and availability.
• Contribute to technical architecture, documentation, and governance throughout the Business.
• Continually investigate new tools and techniques, as well as emerging standards and assist with the incorporation of AI at all levels.What you will bring:
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in Data Science, Analytics Engineering or related role, preferably in Financial Services.
• Familiarity with implementing machine learning algorithms, statistical analysis and model deployment & monitoring.
• Proficiency with relational databases, including ETL/ELT process design & implementation.
• Experience using cloud services or remote clusters for compute purposes.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL, as well as Git.
• Refined written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines while remaining flexible toward unexpected changes.
• Excellent time management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to be resourceful.
• Experience with the following is preferred; AWS suite including Redshift, S3, EC2, Lambda, Cloudwatch, MS PowerAutomate and/or Copilot Studio, Dataiku, workflow orchestration tools (e.g. Airflow), platforms such as Salesforce CRM and REST API calls.Who we are:We put the best interests of our clients, employees, communities, and environment first in everything we do.
