are transforming our quality strategy from a reactive, end-of-line
approach to a quality-first approach - this role is critical in
helping drive our Agile Engineering teams to incorporate quality
discipline in all phases of the SDLC.Responsibilities
- Be the quality champion and help teams adopt all proper testing
work streams in the earliest stages of development.
- Coach and influence development teams on how to test and what
to test in areas such as functional and non-functional testing
requirements, strategy, planning and best practices during kickoff
and grooming rituals.
- Develop automated UI tests.
- Author test plans for E2E User Acceptance, Regression and New
Feature Testing.
- Analyze Product designs for acceptance criteria, regression
risk, and integration issues.
- Understand how each component & service affects customer
experience.
- Manage web & mobile app builds and development
environments.
- Triage issues through reproduction, capturing recordings,
analyzing logs and thorough reporting.
- Root cause analysis after production escapes & continuously
improves testing approach.
- Establish subject matter expertise within a respective product
domain.Required Experience
- 5+ years of experience in testing mobile apps, web apps, API &
IoT hardware.
- 2+ years of experience working with UI Test Automation
frameworks such as Appium, Selenium, Cypress, Playwright or any
comparable platform in any commonly used coding language.
- Worked within a Shift Left Testing environment.
- Experience working within development IDE such as xCode and
Android Studio mobile.
- Fluency in Agile development ceremonies.
- Familiarity with Atlassian project development software.
- Experience in source control such as Git/GitHub.
- Test Case Management tools like Zephyr or TestRail.Preferred
experience
- Automated API/Integration Testing.
- Contract Testing.
- Familiarity with Wifi-connected Cameras.
