So, we need smart, talented, and humble people who share our values to join us as we disrupt the home security space and relentlessly pursue our mission of keeping Every Home Secure.RoleWe are transforming our quality strategy from a reactive, end-of-line approach to a quality-first approach - this role is critical in helping drive our Agile Engineering teams to incorporate quality discipline in all phases of the SDLC.Responsibilities

• Be the quality champion and help teams adopt all proper testing work streams in the earliest stages of development.
• Coach and influence development teams on how to test and what to test in areas such as functional and non-functional testing requirements, strategy, planning and best practices during kickoff and grooming rituals.
• Develop automated UI tests.
• Author test plans for E2E User Acceptance, Regression and New Feature Testing.
• Analyze Product designs for acceptance criteria, regression risk, and integration issues.
• Understand how each component & service affects customer experience.
• Manage web & mobile app builds and development environments.
• Triage issues through reproduction, capturing recordings, analyzing logs and thorough reporting.
• Root cause analysis after production escapes & continuously improves testing approach.
• Establish subject matter expertise within a respective product domain.Required Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in testing mobile apps, web apps, API & IoT hardware.
  • 2+ years of experience working with UI Test Automation frameworks such as Appium, Selenium, Cypress, Playwright or any comparable platform in any commonly used coding language.
  • Worked within a Shift Left Testing environment.
  • Experience working within development IDE such as xCode and Android Studio mobile.
  • Fluency in Agile development ceremonies.
  • Familiarity with Atlassian project development software.
  • Experience in source control such as Git/GitHub.
  • Test Case Management tools like Zephyr or TestRail.Preferred experience
    • Automated API/Integration Testing.
    • Contract Testing.
    • Familiarity with Wifi-connected Cameras.
