destiny.We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Category
Manager to join our Procurement team. You will play a critical role
in shaping our sourcing strategy, ensuring cost-effective and
high-quality supplier relationships, and driving efficiencies
across the IT and Engineering categories.Key Responsibilities:
- Category Management:
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies for IT and Engineering
categories.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to align procurement goals
with company objectives.
- Stay informed about market trends, technology advancements, and
supplier innovations in IT and mobile messaging (SMS, RCS,
app-based messaging).
- Evaluate, select, and manage a robust supplier base to ensure
best-in-class service, pricing, and quality.
- Conduct supplier negotiations to achieve optimal contract terms
and value-added services.
- Monitor supplier performance and implement improvement
initiatives where needed.
- Procurement Systems and Processes:
- Leverage tools like Coupa, ZipHQ, and NetSuite to streamline
procurement workflows and enhance reporting capabilities.
- Drive process automation and efficiencies through system
optimization.
- Cost Optimization:
- Identify opportunities for cost savings, risk mitigation, and
value enhancement.
- Implement strategic procurement practices to achieve budgetary
goals.
- Collaboration and Compliance:
- Ensure alignment with legal, regulatory, and compliance
standards in international markets.
- Collaborate with stakeholders globally to address regional
needs and challenges in the mobile messaging domain.
- Data and Reporting:
- Generate procurement KPIs and dashboards to track
performance.
- Present insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
- Stakeholder Relationships:
- Own the relationships between Procurement and IT and
Engineering business partners.
- Meet regularly to understand business needs and
prioritizations.
- Drive processes and relationships with Procurement Process
groups (i.e. TPRM, FP&A, Legal, etc.).The ideal candidate will
have 5+ years of experience in procurement, experience in the IT
and Engineering categories as well as general proficiency in
procurement systems such as Coupa and ZipHQ as well as NetSuite. A
background in the domestic and international mobile messaging
market (SMS, RCS, and app-based messaging) is highly desirable.The
pay range for this role is listed below. Sales roles are also
eligible for variable compensation and hourly non-exempt roles are
eligible for overtime in accordance with applicable law. This role
is eligible for benefits, including: medical, dental and vision
