Power Platform Developer (Local candidates only)
Key Responsibilities:
Power Apps Development:
Design, develop, and implement custom business applications using
Power Apps.
Develop model-driven and canvas apps to meet business requirements
and ensure seamless user experiences.
Integrate Power Apps with data sources such as SharePoint, SQL
Server, and Dataverse.
Implement custom connectors to integrate external systems and
services with Power Apps.
Power Pages and Portals:
Develop and customize Power Pages (formerly Power Apps portals) to
create external-facing websites for customer engagement and
self-service.
Customize portal pages, forms, and workflows based on user
requirements.
Implement security roles, authentication, and access management for
external users on Power Pages/Portals.
Integrate data from Dataverse and other sources into Power Pages
for dynamic and interactive user experiences.
Customization and Configuration:
Customize Power Apps and Power Pages to align with business
requirements, including custom components, workflows, and
automation.
Design and implement business logic and automation in Power Apps
using Power Automate.
Configure Power Pages for external user interaction, ensuring
responsive design and accessibility across devices.
Testing and Deployment:
Conduct thorough testing (unit, integration, and user acceptance
testing) to ensure developed solutions meet business
requirements.
Implement deployment strategies for Power Apps and Power Pages,
ensuring smooth transitions from development to production
environments.
Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize applications and portals to
ensure high performance and reliability.
Support:
Offer ongoing technical support, resolve issues, and ensure the
continued functionality of applications and portals.
Create user documentation, including guides and FAQs, to assist
users with navigating Power Apps and Portals.
Continuous Improvement and Knowledge Sharing:
Stay updated on the latest features, best practices, and updates in
Power Apps, Power Pages, and Power Automate.
Recommend improvements or new features for current applications or
portals based on evolving business needs.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Experience: 5+ years of hands-on experience in developing solutions
using Microsoft Power Apps, Power Pages (Power Apps Portals), and
Power Automate.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in Power Apps (canvas apps, model-driven apps).
Strong experience in customizing Power Pages (Portals) and building
web-based applications.
Familiarity with Power Automate to automate business processes and
workflows.
Proficient in Power Fx (formula language) for Power Apps and
understanding of data modeling in Dataverse.
Experience with web technologies such as HTML, JavaScript, CSS for
Power Pages customizations.
Database Integration: Experience working with Dataverse and other
data sources like SharePoint, SQL Server, and REST APIs.
Authentication: Knowledge of user authentication methods (Azure AD,
OAuth, and custom security roles in Power Pages).
Problem Solving: Strong troubleshooting skills with a focus on
finding effective solutions to business challenges.
Communication: Excellent communication skills with the ability to
explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical
stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certifications: Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Fundamentals,
Power Apps + Dynamics 365 Developer Associate, or other relevant
Microsoft certifications.
Agile experience or familiarity with DevOps practices.
Knowledge of best practices in UI/UX design and responsive web
development.
