Key ResponsibilitiesA leading investment firm is seeking an experienced professional to support the compensation program for its Capital Markets businesses on a global scale. These businesses include Credit, Special Situations, Public Equity, Insurance, and Partnership Strategies. The Compensation Manager will be responsible for overseeing compensation-related activities for two to three business units while providing additional support as needed.Core responsibilities include:

• Conduct complex compensation modeling, financial planning, competitive benchmarking, and compensation forecasting. Manage annual compensation cycles for designated business units.
• Collaborate closely with senior leadership, business unit heads, HR partners, and finance teams.
• Provide guidance on compensation cycles, bonus structures, and equity-based awards while ensuring competitive compensation strategies.
• Develop detailed compensation models and scenario analyses to support strategic decision-making, including preparing presentations and reports for executive leadership.
• Maintain and refine competitive compensation frameworks to ensure consistency across business units.
• Assist with financial analysis related to compensation, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning.
• Partner with internal teams on matters related to employee investment programs and performance-based incentives.
• Leverage data-driven insights to provide recommendations, utilizing strong technical and business writing skills to present findings effectively.
• Address compensation-related challenges by recommending and implementing tailored solutions.
• Prepare and distribute regular and ad hoc compensation reports, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
• Mentor and support junior team members to foster professional development.
