  • *** L&D/Post-Partum RN Days/Eves/Nights Rotate w/ 1 Night of Call & EOW - 36hrs. ***
  • Unit Name: Labor & Delivery/Post Partum Unit.
  • Brief Unit Description: 25-bed Labor & Delivery Unit which encompasses: L&D, PP, NBN, 2 OR's, 2 ANU rooms, RR. Salem Hospital is a 400+ bed facility that has 220 Med Surg beds plus the ICU.
  • Years of Experience Required: 3 years minimum.
  • Skill Sets Required: Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, Circulate, & Newborn Care.
  • Clinician to Patient Ratio: L&D 1:2-3 Evals, 1:1 Active Labor, Magnesium gtt or EPIDURAL. PP 1:3-4.
  • Patient Population: All.
  • Bed Count: 5 LD Rooms, 12 PP, 2 OR's, 2 RR, 2 ANU with 4 beds.
  • Census: Average daily census 15-25 mother, babies and labor.
  • EMR (Charting System): EPIC.
  • Floating Required: No.
  • Rotating Shifts Required: Day Rotate position w/ 1 Night of Call is (7a-7p, 11a-11p & 7p-7a). Eves & Nights positions are straight shifts.

      • Additional Details
      • A completed primary COVID-19 vaccination series that is approved by the FDA or the World Health Organization (WHO) OR an up-to-date COVID vaccine if a primary series was never received or completed is required. No exemptions or waivers (religious/medical) will be considered.
      • Documentation of two measles vaccines, two mumps vaccines, and one rubella (German measles) vaccines or two MMR vaccines.
      • Strongly Preferred. Record of 3 Hep B vaccines OR Proof of immunity via blood test.
      • Vaccine required during flu season Sept 15th - April 30th. Document must be uploaded as PDF. No exemptions or waivers (religious/medical) will be considered.
      • Must have documentation of TB skin test screening within 3 months of start date.
      • Physician Statement signed by MD/DO/NP/PA. Within 365 days of start date.
      • Vaccine within 10 years and updated upon expiration - Preferred.
      • Upload attestation with date run, indicating date completed and findings. Run within 45 days prior to start date.
      • 2 recent references, minimum 1 Supervisor or Above, in Skillset.
