Lowell General Hospital, part of Tufts Medicine, is seeking experienced Surgical Technologists to join our team. • Works in a professional manner on a wide variety of surgical procedures
• Selects and prepares the appropriate supplies and equipment for the surgical cases
• Participates in surgery by organizing the instrumentation to the surgeon, participating in surgical counts, and performs related activities under the directions of the surgeon
• Assist the circulator, with positioning obtaining needed items during surgery, and assisting in room turnover activities
• Operates surgical equipment as needed
• Participate in operating room activities related to quality improvement, continuing education, orientation of new personnel and emergency preparednessQualifications:
  • Certified Surgical Technologist
  • Associates degree or Completion of Surgical Technician Certification Coursework required
  • 1-2 years' experience working as a Surgical Technician (preferred)
  • LPN with Surgical Technician Certification/ExperienceWhat We Offer:
