Job SummaryAt South Shore Health, we are seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team. As a Nurse Manager, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and providing leadership to our nursing staff.Key Responsibilities
a. Provide individualized, outcome-oriented nursing care through the use of the nursing process.
b. Develop, evaluate, and update individualized plans of care for patients and document outcomes.
c. Continuously assess and reassess patient care needs and identify areas for improvement.
d. Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide comprehensive care and address patient concerns.
e. Foster a culture of safety and quality within the hospital and promote adherence to regulatory requirements.
f. Participate in performance improvement initiatives and contribute to evidence-based practice.
Requirements
a. Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
b. Previous acute care RN experience preferred.
c. Current RN licensure and Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
d. Additional certifications may be required depending on department.
