Our Progressive Care Unit provides the training and experience to put you on a successful path in critical care nursing. - Come join our PCU team, and work close -to home with a 3-time Magnet recognized community hospital. -Position Summary:The PCU is -a 36-bed unit for telemetry, step down, or intermediate level of care. Patients requiring peritoneal and hemodialysis, cardiac catheterizations, pacemakers, internal cardiac defibrillator placement, post-operative monitoring, and -interventional radiology may be placed on PCU. - Our patients receive continuous cardiac monitoring, and some may also receive continuous oxygen saturation monitoring. - Patient can be on high flow oxygen, Bi-pap ventilation, and continuous cardiac Intravenous medications. - The nurse patient ratio is less than on the med/surg floors, allowing patients to be more closely monitored.Hours: 36 hours per week, Evening/Night shift, Every Third WeekendQualifications: -

• --- Critical care experience required
• --- Able to read and interpret Tele strips independently
• --- Must have excellent time management skills
• --- Use of electronic based charting systems. -Epic experience is a plus. -
• Valid -BLS and ACLS required
