The pay information provided offers an estimate based on the minimum job qualifications, but it does not encompass all the elements that contribute to your total compensation package.This position is primarily responsible for the development and provision of group activities (therapeutic, psychoeducational, and activity-based) for patients on the unit. The successful candidate will be able to improve mental health and daily living skills, as well as provide individual and/or group instruction to develop and maintain appropriate ADL skills (hygiene, nutrition, etc.).The ideal candidate will have three or more years of clinical experience associated with mental health and a master's degree program in social work, psychology, counseling, or a related field. A current Social Work License (LCSW, LICSW) or License in a related field (LMHC, Licensed Psychologist) in the State of MA is preferred. Bilingual Spanish is also preferred.Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and provide group activities for patients on the unit
  • Improve mental health and daily living skills
  • Provide individual and/or group instruction to develop and maintain appropriate ADL skills
  • Communicate findings to members of the multi-disciplinary team
