Job Description:
Job Description This position is responsible for all applicable
Contractor Outcomes of the Government Property Control System,
including the maintenance of records and issuance of required
reports concerning customer and government-owned property from its
receipt at the company to its final disposition after contract
completion or termination. Position includes self-audit and support
of the Government's annual survey of the Government Property
Control System as well as Customer audits. Acts as a liaison with
internal and external customers to resolve government and customer
property issues.
- Main duties will be acting as the site Contract Closeout Lead.
Includes verification of final inventory, property record closure,
dispositions, and contract transfer requests when applicable.
- Work with Contract Administrators and Program Managers to
ensure that excess customer and government-owned property is
identified as quickly as possible after contract completion.
- Arrange for the disposal of all excess property with the
customer as well as government material, equipment, vehicles,
weapons, and ammunition as coordinated with the Government's Plant
Clearance Officer.
- Upon completion of closeout activities, will prepare required
documentation and submit to the appropriate Government (or
customer) Property Administrator.
- Maintain auditable records of customer and government-owned
property located at the facility and associated
vendor/subcontractor facilities. Ensure that the records include
authority to have the property and an audit trail of receipt,
inspection, cost, classification, periodic inventory, maintenance,
and final disposition.
- Write a significant amount of correspondence to internal and
external customers, vendors, and DCMA personnel.
- Prepare draft procedure changes to implement FAR/DFARS
requirements or locally directed management changes.
- Prepare status reports to management on departmental
activities.
- May track, manage, and control Program Line Replacement Units
both hardware and software configurations.
- Interface with Field Sites as well as customers and
sub-contractors to meet equipment needs. Coordinate moves with
Quality and DCMA.
- Originate and process documentation required for all
transactions.
- Performs self-assessment audits of compliance to published
procedures and FAR/DFARS requirements.
- Coordinates all aspects of the analysis by interfacing with
appropriate department personnel and the government's Property
Administrator, if necessary, secure applicable corrective
actions.Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- 10 years of relevant professional experience, including 4 years
spent in Government Property Administration.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related.Per a
specific government contract, selected individual must be a US
Person.Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
- Bachelor's Degree plus 10 years relevant experience including 7
years in Property Administration.
- National Property Management Association (NPMA) membership and
certification as a Certified Professional Property Administrator
(CPPA) is preferred.
- Knowledge of PIEE database is preferred.Pay
InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $81156 - $137964Please note:
This range is based on our market pay structures. However,
individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors
including, but not limited to: business considerations, local
market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate
