team!BAE Systems Electronic Combat Solutions (ECS) business area is
seeking a Manager I in the Tactical Aircraft (TACAIR) product line.
This Manager will lead our Program Quality Engineers on Sustainment
programs for TACAIR. Oversight shall include, but not limited to,
ensuring customer contract requirements are met, quality assurance,
continuous process improvement, and lifecycle management. The role
will be involved in documenting Sustainment Processes for both
Integrated Contractor Support and Customer Depots, writing Basis of
Estimate and supporting proposals for future efforts, as well as
the day to functional leadership of the Program Quality Engineers
for Sustainment and/or Non-recurring Engineering Programs. The
individual will work closely with the Customer, Program Management
offices & Supplier Quality Teams along with other critical
functions to provide world class program execution. Additionally,
support corrective actions using quality science tools via 8D
methodology.Because this role involves a combination of
collaborative/in-person and independent work, it will take the form
of an in person work format, with travel to other locations as
required.Required Education, Experience, & Skills
A Bachelor's Degree and 8 years work
experienceSelf-starting problem solver with a fact based focus on
continuous improvementStrong and Demonstrated Communication Skills
(written, verbal, visual) and interpersonal skills (listening and
communicating within a group/teamEnjoys working with and coaching
Quality professionals and other cross-functional team members to
continuously improve execution success Understanding the process
for Basis of Estimate and proposalsUnderstanding of Quality Science
tools (APQP/PPAP, 8D RCCA, Statistical Process Controls, Lean Six
Sigma, Auditing) Sustainment Experience with supporting Life Cycle
Support programsPreferred Education, Experience, & Skills
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certified
- Management experience
- Defense industry standards (AS9100, AS9102 and AS9145)
- Active Secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a technical fieldPay
InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $130355 - $221603Please note:
This range is based on our market pay structures. However,
individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors
including, but not limited to: business considerations, local
market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate
qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience. Employee
