Job Description:

OverviewThe Senior Director of Field Reimbursement will report to the Executive Director of Access and Reimbursement. Through continuous collaboration with the market access and field facing teams, this Sr. Director will assist in developing protocols and standards to ensure health care providers have all of the resources needed to secure the appropriate reimbursement for Replimune products in a timely manner. This leader will also assist in developing the necessary tools needed for the Field Reimbursement Manager (FRM) team.ResponsibilitiesKey responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership to the field reimbursement team (internal and contracted).
  • Advise in the development of tools to be used in the field to assist in product reimbursement.
  • Coordinate daily activities with internal Replimune stakeholders to ensure patient access to Replimune products is consistent.
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration sessions to exchange insights and share best practices related to reimbursement issues and algin on strategic priorities.
  • Proactively communicate with Market Access account team to gain a complete understand of payer based medical policies and clinical criteria for use of Replimune products.
  • Align regularly with Patient Support Services to review identified reimbursement issues. Coordinate and monitor activities of FRMs and PSS to resolve issues in a compliant manner.
  • Create and align key stakeholders on internal communications, resources and tools regarding formulary announcements and important reimbursement initiatives.
  • Assist with development of pull through materials across the organization.
  • Manage reimbursement challenges through a well-defined triage process.
  • Build dashboards or other tracking tools to quickly assess the reimbursement environment.
  • Monitor and report performance of key initiatives.
  • Track key performance indicators to monitor overall performance.
  • Align activities with Executive Director of Access and Reimbursement to meet corporate assigned goals.
  • Ensure team activities are aligned with the overall market access strategy to secure appropriate access to payer, GPO and other aligned customer types.Other responsibilities:
    • Willing to undertake various responsibilities outside of your area of expertise as opportunity presents.QualificationsEducational requirements:College degree with MBA preferredExperience and skill requirement:
      • 8+ years or relevant pharmaceutical experience, including building, training and retaining a team of high performers
      • Extensive knowledge of compliance guidelines and processes for FRM services
      • Strong organizational alignment around prioritization and focus
      • Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of US Healthcare system and reimbursement challenges and opportunities
      • Demonstrated ability to develop integrated strategic plans across multiple channels and topics.
      • Strong reimbursement background and experience in understanding of coding issues and nuances
      • Customer-centric approaches with sustainability and scalability
      • Understanding of commercialization process, reimbursement integration points and clinical development processes
      • Working knowledge of market access, patient access and support services, pricing, and contracting approaches
      • Travel as requiredCompensation will include salary, bonus based on team and individual performance and corporate performance-based bonus.
