Program Manager-Midstream Strategic ConsultantLocation: Massachusetts (Home Office with Local Travel)This position may require travel to Massachusetts, Connecticut, New Hampshire, Maine, Rhode Island.ICF is seeking a Program Manager to support our mid-stream electrification initiatives for a consortium of five New England markets: Massachusetts, Connecticut, New Hampshire, Maine, and Rhode Island. The chosen individual will spearhead the strategy, development, and management of residential midstream program offerings in these states. Working closely with senior leadership, this role involves overseeing and supporting the successful implementation of operations across multiple areas: internal operations, client support, and stakeholder management.Why you will love working here:

  • Overall management of the program performance including financial management, contract deliverables, strategic planning, quality assurance, and operational efficiencies.
  • Maintain ongoing communications with clients to deliver program status updates, pipeline management, and provide stakeholder feedback.
  • Develop and maintain relationships and partnerships with major local, national, and regional distributors, suppliers, and manufacturers to support their participation in programs.
  • Prepare and present targeted client and participant presentations promoting program awareness and participation at trade shows, trade organization and stakeholder events, supply house counter days, ride-along with sales teams, etc.
  • Align marketing, promotional, and merchandising activities for energy-efficient products with key utility contracts across the nation.
  • Analyze market trends and technologies to enhance deployment opportunities to increase participation/adoption.
  • Development and deployment of training and quality assurance protocols for program participants.
  • Manage program incentive payments and application processing per established policies and procedures.
  • Effectively manage multiple program budgets.
  • Mentor, lead, and collaborate with program support team members, including one or more direct reports.
  • Oversee IT systems and manage ticket timelines.What we need you to have (minimum qualifications):
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Admin, Energy, Environmental Studies, IT, policy, or related field, and 5+ years of experience developing, designing, and managing successful energy efficiency programs OR a High School Diploma and 5+ years of HVAC industry experience.
  • 5+ years of experience managing a team (both in-house and virtual).
  • Must have a valid driver's license and successfully pass a Motor Vehicle Records (MVR) check.What we would like you to have:
  • Energy efficiency project and/or program implementation experience.
  • Previous experience working specifically with HVAC distributors, suppliers, and/or manufacturers.
  • Demonstrated experience with business and client development with concentration in new opportunity pursuit and capture.
  • Demonstrated experience in continuous improvement in quality assurance/control theories, techniques, and application.
  • Firm understanding of procurement best practices and contract administration.
  • Industry certifications, professional affiliations, and publications.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office Applications (Dynamics, Word, Outlook, Excel).
  • Proficiency in developing and/or implementing data collection, tracking, and reporting processes (i.e., customer relationship management (CRM) efforts).
  • Hold a project management certification, including but not limited to; PMP, Six-Sigma, Scrum Master, etc.Professional Skills:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
  • Team player with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks with excellent attention to detail.
  • Sound business ethics, including the protection of proprietary and confidential information.
  • Ability to work with all levels of internal employees, as well as outside clients and vendors.
  • Able to effectively lead and work with a variety of team members.
  • Superior interpersonal skills including courtesy, professionalism, and a cooperative attitude.
