Responsibilities


Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize cost savings and operational efficiency Lead Procurement operational transformation, create strategy to streamline end-to-end procure to pay and source-to-pay operational processes Oversee the procurement process, including requisition, sourcing, purchasing, and delivery Cross functional interaction with accounts payable to enable synergy throughout the source-to-pay workflow Identify and evaluate potential vendors and suppliers based on quality, price, and reliability Negotiate contracts and agreements with vendors to secure favorable terms and conditions in collaboration with the contract management team Monitor supplier performance and resolve any issues or disputes that may arise Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and requirements Stay abreast of market trends, economic factors, and regulatory changes that may impact procurement Lead and mentor the procurement team, providing guidance and support to achieve departmental goals
Qualifications


Required Skill Sets:
Strong negotiation skills Excellent analytical abilities Proficiency in procurement software and tools Deep understanding of supply chain management principles Effective communication and interpersonal skills Strategic thinking and decision-making abilities Knowledge of contract law and vendor managementDesired Skill Sets:
Experience in procurement within the telecom or similar industry Leadership and team management skills Advanced degree in Business Administration or Supply Chain Management Certification in Procurement or Supply Chain Management (e.g., CSCP, CPSM)Experience:
10+ years related experience, including 5 years of managerial experienceEducation:
A Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field is typically required A Master's degree or an MBA is preferred

    Salary


    Pay range (commensurate with skills and experience): $120,000 - $150,000 annual salary plus bonus.
