Since 1975, our organization has helped over 65,000 individuals receive sight-restoring transplants.This is a great opportunity for individuals with excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills desiring to learn tissue processing techniques and perform microscopic ocular tissue manipulation for ophthalmic surgery. Those who succeed will have experience and interest in the life-sciences, aseptic/sterile technique, and/or tissue processing of donor tissue for transplant. As a Processing Technician, you will operate in an aseptic environment performing DMEK and DSAEK graft preparations, sterilize instruments, and evaluate corneal tissue using a variety of microscopes and equipment.
