• Generate detailed requirements for automation products to be developed utilizing Rockwell Automation PlantPAx DCS platform.
• Lead and perform the detailed design for the New Product Introduction.
• Develop as well as lead the activities of other's in programming controllers, configuring SCADA/HMI applications, S-88 batch systems according to design and performance specifications.
• Establish process automation system test plans to determine compliance with functional and design requirements.
• Design and author methods and processes to deploy, install, and configure customer specific control and network strategies. The essential requirements of the job include:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Chemical, Electrical or Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or in "STEM" Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering) and over 8 years of technical experience in biotechnology, pharmaceutical or equivalent automated process industries
  • Experience in the programming of Rockwell PlantPAx DCS tools and components including Logix controllers, FT-View SCADA/HMI, FT-Batch and OSI/PI continuous historian.
  • Comprehensive understanding and strong hands-on development experience of application development and system/hardware integration It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
    • PLC/DCS/SCADA experience with Rockwell PlantPAx.
    • Experience working with DevOps.
